QA1 Axle (Power Hop Damper) shock question.

Hey Guys;

Just received a NIB QA1 axle shock from one of our members.

Upon installation, looks like the QA1 has a larger eye inside diameter. The stock hardware will cause some slop. :dontknow:

What hardware are you members utilizing when installing the QA1??

Since knowone here has yet to offer any input, I decided to contact QA1 direct.

Apparently, they do not make a shock specific for our trucks. JMB says use stock hardware. Stock hardware would cause too much slop between the bolts and eyes.

Solution is to call QA1, find your nearest distributor and order a shock eye sleeve kit. About $8.00 gets them to my mailbox.

Hope this helps anyone who is currently running or is going to run QA1 axle shocks on thier RC.

I know this thread is mighty old, but I'd be interested to know which QA1 shock you got for the axle damper...
