Just wanted to stop in and say a quick thank you to a great bunch of guys that I had the chance to meet and hang out with this weekend in Brandenton, FL. I do not own a Viper Truck or car but a good friend of mine, I think you all know him as "Rice Eater", does and I rolled out with him to the event. I am an avid import drag racing scene follower but really wanted a chance to learn more about these trucks and Viper's and to get a chance to see them run. I never bash another because they like another type of brand (Dodge, Chevy, Honda, Toyota, etc.)...at the end of the day, it's all about the sport (racing) and having fun, and oh yeah a little sh*t talkiing never hurt either :boxing:
1 pass, 2 pass, 3 pass fun
4th pass, oh sh*t, Rice Eater was done!
Times like this are when you realize the value of what forums like this do. Bring a group of people with similar interests together and see how they all act as if they were friends for years! When Chad broke you would have thought that is was eveyones truck that did. Everyone was right there offering to help. Stinker (absolutely one of the funniest characters
I have EVER met) and his wife Joanne are totally selfless people who will do anything for a friend or fellow Viper Truck owner..before we knew what happened Chad's truck was in their tralier and we had a ride back to the hotel and dinner. Got a chance to ride in the twin turbo beast and can only use one word to describe it...SWEEEEEET!!!!! Damn that thing pulls and the blow off valves sound awesome.
Scott, aka NTWORK, gave us a ride back to the hotel and to dinner, and back to the track the next day...thanks again brother!
Jack is a wealth of knowledge and took the time to explain A LOT about these trucks and never made me feel like I was asking "dumb" questions. Good luck in the future and with that insane build you are working on!
Blake's truck is the sickst thing I have ever rode in. I was blown away that a truck that size could move the way it does!!! Blake, thanks again for the loaner truck so Chad and I could get home, we definitely owe you for that!
Dave at True Performace is top notch and never gave the feeling that he was just trying to just sell you something. It was all about helpiing each other.
To the other guys that I had the chance to hang with, Stinker, NBT, BlakeWilder, NTWORK, MisterHemi03, Brat, thanks for the hospitality and not making an import guy feel like an outcast!
Chad, thanks for the invite brah! Had a blast.
I took some pictures and will post them shortly...after looking at them though, I noticed that I didn't get any of the trucks...oops!
