I think it's a cool concept and would like to see it being built. If they do proceed (which I doubt they will) they need to make it unique, give it it's own body kit, lower it, change a few things....don't just drop an engine in it with 3 new badges, anyone can do that.
It needs it's own identity.
For me, there will never be an SRT Ram like the first (and currently only) generation that we own. Those 392 Hemis are great engines but they are also great engines that are in
many other vehicles in the MoPar range. It looses it's appeal and uniqueness. That's one thing I always get a kick out of and love about my truck, the 505ci Viper V10. If the looks of our trucks don't drop enough jaws, when they ask if it's a V8 and you explain that it's housing a Viper V10 it literally leaves them speechless.
I'm lucky enough to own a large cube Hemi of the original kind (Dodge Challenger R/T) and having a Viper powered truck is the total opposite, both great machines but both are totally unique, the Viper sound, feel and vibe are truly one of a kind. I hope they never make another V10 Viper truck.....some may say that's a bit greedy others might see it as I do, protecting the heritage, uniqueness and history of owning a limited production Viper powered truck.
