Rear Main Seal

Any Help here would be greatly appreciated I found the leak today when I was checking my exhaust bolts from a recent mid install.

Many of our trucks seep a little. Some have replaced the seal and still had the seep...seems that it is seldom enough to drip...just discolor some the side of the transmission. Mine has seeped from day one and never increased in volume.

Good to know Prof it's not enough to drip just enough to dis-color the pan. I will keep an eye on it and replace when I install the clutch and viper hydraulics.

I've had mine replaced twice and still have a small bit a seepage... :dontknow:
Comes with the territory I believe... Good luck if you're planning on a DIY for this

Had mine done too...................didnt help...........then had the dealer change out the oil cooler line thingy...........now I got even more oil!!!

I would just leave it as is.
