Rear main seal

Trying to get info on replacing rear main seal but not getting axcess to the do it yourself link. I know theres a couple of you guys that can help me out with some info

Remove transmission, remove flywheel or flexplate, remove seal. Install new seal.

part # 05037300AA Be careful removing the old seal ! try not to gouge up the aluminum, the seal sits in. it is a narrow seal.

Just like changing the rear main in any other car man, no biggie.

If not any local parts store should have one, might be 10 bucks on the high side

Yea i believe your looking at wrong seal. Autozone has them for like 20 bucks. Rear main seal is also known as rear crackshaft seal

When I needed one, mopar was on backorder and every store had like a 3 week lead time.

i think you just need to remove the flex plate and the transmission, fly wheel is not necessary to remove. then just replace the seal.

You can't have both a flexplate and a flywheel. One is for automatics (flywheel) and one is for manuals (flywheel).
