NBT said:Ok... I am kidding... Here you go Paul... you can do a search on spline drive extended lug nuts, and come up with a variety of results...I used the copper antiseize after that and never had a problem.

so,....it was a wheel lock, not a lug nut........ i'd never put those on my truck again, more headache then there worth.Sharpimage said:Just wanted to post the result photos and how-to
Basically went down to NTB today because the master Mech. would be there
turns out he went home early.. Anyways, long story short they got the cracked
lug nut off and what they did was they got a bigger socket (24mm) then the lock nut
and hammered it on over the lock nut. Using an impact wrench they then proceeded
to remove the cracked lug nut. Now in my special case they had to use
the key to finish the removal but i think in the general case of key loss or something
else this should work ... and of course, pictures

Andrew

prolly more my fault, i thought it originally was about a lug nut.........Sharpimage said:whoops, i should proof read my posts! Yeah i meant to say wheel lock
Sharpimage said:Yeah these were the Mopar locks.. I was trying to find a set of locks that
were discrete in that they looked like another lug nut but really it's just a plastic
cover on the lock itself..
