Repainting my truck

Beautiful truck and congrats on the magazine coverage. The key is to be a badarse painter/prepper that can lay it down without the need for colorsanding. If for some reason I needed to, it would be with minimum of 2000 grit, and more than likely 3000! I consider it an art to be able to lay it down like GLASS without extra time spent on colorsanding and buffing.

Thank you! Cool stuff you put up as well!

After over 20+ years behind the spray gun, I got that down too. Just sometimes the customer wants zero orange peel. I do a lot of bicycle frames (expensive ones! ) that never get touched after I shoot em.

Shot it all at once including the jambs and hardtop. Was almost a shame to have to shoot paint on the primer.....

I would've let this one leave untouched, but they write the check.:dontknow:

I thought it was still plenty glossy and shiny even after buffing though....
