I plan on removing my resonator for more sound just looking for pros and cons

removed mine probably a year ago quick thing makes it a bit louder and mean sounding

I changed my exhaust system the second day I owned my truck.

I took my truck to a local exhaust shop and had the factor muffler cut off and had dual flowmasters, I forget which series but not the super loud ones, put on so I have true dual exhaust but left the resonator on and the exhaust was still pretty quiet, so 2 days later I went back and they took the resonator off for free and that was the missing piece. Cut that thing off, it will really help make your exhaust sound a little louder and meaner but not be overbearing. My last truck was a Dodge Ram with the Magnum V-8 and I had the cats and muffler removed and the exhaust was way too loud, so on this truck I wanted something that rumbled but was bearable for daily driving. Once my truck is no longer my daily driver I'll get something louder.
