Retrieving Trouble codes without an OBDII scanner

Is it possible to retrieve the ECM Error codes without a scanner?

It's a 2005 SRT-10 automatic extended cab.

I have already tried the method involving turning the ignition on/off.

Not sure if there is or isnt, but just go to the dealership, they will do a scan for free. Or if u have the SCT device, that will scan as well.

Surprised that the ignition method didn't work, I've used in on a normal ram as well without issue. As mentioned, the dealership or autozone will run them for you free of charge.

Thanks guys. I got the ignition to show me the codes. Guess it was just a matter of perfect timing
