scraping sound

I have a 99 Dakota 4by4 . When I am on the interstate in LA, the dips in the road are bad. My truck makes a scraping sound from the front left tire. I have made sure thats it is not the tire hitting my wheel well, What other things could this be?

But for real, maybe something in your suspension maybe, my friend is having the same problem with is SS kinda clunking smashing sound over bumps.

check and make sure the backing plate isnt hitting your front rotors
