Set-off Car Alarms

Does anyone else get as much pleasure in life as i do, setting off car alarms in parking lots.

I fired up the beast at the commanders building, and i hear a recognizable, R2D2....."whirrrrrl Beep Beep." I Rev'd it slightly and it responded with the same warning. Before putting it in first i abused my clutch, making it perform as a high stall converter and i set that alarm ABLAZE!!!!! Riding through the parking lot i realize it was our commander, a full bird Colonel's, government vehicle. I quietly leave the vicinity with a grin since i typed this thread up.

Dont know why it tickles me:dontknow: But it does. :burnout: :burnout: :rock: :rock: :rock:

Ok I got one, who else does this?



before I got my back surgery I used to go to the gym. I got into the habit of backing in up against the wall in the 2 story parking structure.

So I hop in and if I see a cute girl getting out of her car or getting into I get ready to scare em.

I hold the gas pedal about half way and start it:D

The rumble of the truck coming to life along with the modded' exhaust really just shakes up the whole structure! I laugh my ass off as I see them jump:rock:
 
My Dakota talks to the SRT.

When I start the SRT my 'Lil Dak goes beep.... beep....beep to it's idling big brother.

Rap the throttle a little and watch the Dak alarm let loose full bore!

A bit embarrassing at night when it wakes the neighbors!:D
 
LOL...every morning i set off my neighbors alarm...and i mean EVERY morning!:D
I loooove parking garages as well!!
 
I wonder if we annoyed our neighbors?


I know my ex's momma hated my truck and thought it was too loud..wait how that go again:D
 
Well i know my neighbor doesnt mind. He actually took his F-150 to get the alarm toned down a bit (not as sensative) bcause of my truck. He is out at his front porch reading tha paper and drinking coffee with his kees on hand every morning waiting for me to leave...LOL. Sometimes he babysits his grandson and whei i get home from work he'll ask me to rev it for him. The lil one likes it.:rock:
 
...Thats why I miss my apartment, I could get 8-9 going at once. My neighbors must of hated me...
 
I love parking garages... You have to roll down the windows, open the back glass, turn off the radio, and quiver.
 
Ferrari, did you get your cutouts in, if so where did you put them and what do they sound like? I leave mine out nearly all of the time, i just put the caps in a day or two a month so i dont forget how awesome it is with them.

oh yeah man, they been in there over 2 years now. Truck is in the body shop so i cant pics right now. they both open up right after the trans crossmember.

I've only opened them like 4 times. ran once at the truck with them open.

When open though, they sound awesome. But they are way too loud for the street and I will prolly get busted in a heartbeat. When I get my truck back, i will have brad get vid with them open.
 
I leave for work around 3:45 in the morning, all the way down my street and up the next street getting to the main street in town, I get to hear the alarms making noise. I love it.

My wife came home the other day and asked if I know my truck sets off alarms, I yea, don't you love it, she cracked up.
 
i used to wake up my neighbors 3 year old every morning with my truck lol i felt bad...they asked me to stop driving so loud and i couldnt help but tell them i couldnt stop

Where do u stay around? I'm out by the Hard Rock a lot but never see any SRT's around there except for a black 300 SRT8...

Parking garages at malls are great..for some reason there's always more than one alarm going off there!!:rock:
 
We have tons of walkers up here and my greatest joy is coming down the big hill on our road in third, as I near walkers I downshift into 2nd just as I am getting even with them and bark bark blatt blatt goes the exhaust. Scares the shit out of them and I smile and go on my way
