Shifter bushing question

To the guys who have done the bronze shifter bushing:

I think I have to remove some sort of plastic bushing when putting the bronze one in, correct? And does the bronze bushing just essentially drop into place? Planning on swapping my shifter later today with my new JTSVP one just trying to make sure I understand how the bushing works.

Yessir the end of shifter has a ball type machining. That fits into a nylon cup that sits in shifter rail. Remove it, install bronze in it's place. Baam! Done:burnout:
