Started the rebuild!

Well, I finally started the rebuild of my engine. I got all the parts that were taken off painted black. I got the new cam in and started on the new valve springs. Who knew that changing the valve springs would be so dangerous. I HATE valve spring compressors and so does my forehead...at least I do not need stitches.

I got a set of upgraded lifting rods, NGK Iridium spark plugs, Tony's wires, all new gaskets and a new oil pump. The coils from Tony are on the way and I should be cruzing in a week or so...hopefully:burnout:

The rebuild is only the cam, valve spring and lifting rods for now. With lots of talking with Tony, we went with a cam that has good drivability but comes on strong around 4000rpm. I plan to spray one day but first things first...lol.
