I have noticed there are no basic "For Sale" guidelines that list what is within reason, any items restricted etc.

Also, in general - if you are sending a PM about an item folks, it's common courtesy to post in the thread at least "PM Sent" so other folks don't think they're first in line for an item.

Maybe we should and/or could come up with a common set of at least "suggestive guidelines" to sticky at the top of the FS forum.

RULES - Subject to change without notice.

This service to members is provided without any guarantees, purchase entirely at your own risk. You must have at least 20 posts in order to sell here.

The For Sale section is for used items only. No new items may be posted without prior approval of a moderator or administrator. Only special situations will be allowed; you bought the wrong size, you received the wrong color, etc..

When your parts are sold, post that they are sold once the transaction is completed, and mark item as ***SOLD*** in the topic title.

All frames and engines/engine cases must have frame or engine numbers posted in the ad. Complete bikes or rolling chassis VIN at your discretion, but must produce VIN upon request.

Complete bikes, built engines, and complete turbo kits may have a dedicated post. Otherwise, all of your items for sale should be in one post.

If you find that you always have a for sale post running, or if you are consistently adding new items to your for sale post, you should be an advertiser.

The buyer that claims the parts are sold is first in line.

If advertising on another board state that in the ad.

When you have a sale pending, post that you have a sale pending.

Member Topics are archived after there have been no new replies in over 30 days.

This service is provided for registered members in good standing.

Post wanted items in the WANTED section.

Do not post wanted or for sale ads in any other section unless you are in the SITE SPONSOR member group.

If you have a history of either selling bad/missing/damaged parts or a failure to ship said parts you will lose access to this section.

Post your results with the sellers (good or bad) for the protection the sellers, advertisers and members.

If you continue to sell either same item(s) over and over (swing arms, S2000 injectors, bodywork, etc.) then please contact VC22350 or Admin to see about becoming a site sponsor.

Failure to follow any of these rules may result in restricted access.
