I have come to the conclusion that the best (and cheapest) thing you can do to your truck's appearance is a good wash and wax. I get a chub lookin at my truck whenever I get finished. Is anybody else like me? Whenever you walk by the front window of your house do you take a quick look at it?

I look and smile!!! I even ask my GF when in parking lots....."heh honey, isnt that hot looking truck?" LOL She just shakes her head!!!:D :D

Yeah, there's nothing better looking than a nice clean "YELLOW FEVER" SRT10 waiting for someone to jump right in and drive it like they stole it !!!!I know and understand that feeling all too well !!!

You can tell if a driver loves his vehicle:
when he parks it he looks back at it as he walks away.
I do that all the time.

Hahaha!!

Man! I thought I was the only one!! My wife thinks I am crazy! I am constantly looking at my truck!
Partly because, even after owning it for almost a year, I still can't believe I actually have it!! Partly because it is just one badass truck, and it's so purdy!! And, IT'S MINE!! (Well, most of it still belongs to the bank:(, But the bank can't drive it!!!:))

BTW, the best visual mod is putting my wife behind the wheel!!! (I'll post a pic as soon as she gets back with it!!)

X2, exact mirror of Scott's comments, sans the wife part :D

:withstupid: :withstupid: :withstupid: :withstupid: :withstupid: :withstupid: minus the stupid of course.

I was cleaning it all up today and one of the neighbors came over and asked me why I was cleaning it all up if it is supposed to rain tomorrow. I said,"...because it's dirty."
He said,"well thats just a waste of time!"
I said," Hey, i got a question for you then. Did you brush your teeth this morning?"
He said," Well yeah."
I said, "But you are going to eat lunch in few hours. Why isn't that a waste of time?"
Neighbor, "Well thats different."
Me,"Really, how much do fake teeth cost if you don't take care of them...a lot less than another truck is going to cost me if I don't take care of this one."
He was speechless. Most people don't look at vehicles as, for most of us, the second most expensive thing we will ever buy next to buying a house.
Some people just don't understand our sickness!

Speaking of sickness. My wife tells me she wishes I was a drug addict because it would be cheaper and take up less time than being addicted to horsepower. She was obviously joking...I think.

I'm do the samething, yesterday was our annviersy and we going out to eat. After I park we were walking in and i looked back and said your beautiful she said thanks, I laugh then she realized who I was talking to. She is just a littile jealous!!

Hell yeah, we all do that.

Mine isn't my daily commuter, so she's parked in the garage, i often just go into the garage just to look at her, and make sure everything is okay.

rofl... I'm reminded how often I peek out the windows to look at my truck. It's terrible, how conceited is that? And the other day I was putting the battery back in (electronic problems), started it up, and stood there kind of zoned out looking at and listening to the engine run. lol Today its getting rained on though. Being in the middle of nowhere though kind of means the rain isnt going to be harsh on it.

Mine is in hibernation...but I still removed all the wheels today and cleaned everything I could reach with the wheels off, and cleaned the wheels front and back...can't even drive it...just knowing it is clean is very comforting.

SO I AM NOT RETARDED AFTER ALL!!!
I THOUGHT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH ME.
I GUESS WE ALL HAVE THE DISEASE.!!!!

i agree. nothing better than a good detail. for my viper, i have always used diff products depending upon each specific use. certain brands stand above all others in specific categories. my brands include jaxwax, meguiars, pinnacle, and select products from top of the line detail supplies

mine stays in the garage too. but luckily i get to drive the daytona everyday. even though they are basically the same inside/out ('cept for 500hp) there is still a difference in the driving expirience. i told my wife some people are addicted to drugs, porn, alcohol, whatever, but i'm addicted to cars, trucks, bikes, whatever. she didnt find it funny at all.
