Hey guys ... Got a the emblems. Of left on the truck is the black rubber
like and then the adhesive...Rubber comes off adhesive does not come off
with nail polish remover...Do i need to use something stronger. Also in my
garage temperature is not extremely warm...HELP...:dontknow:

3M adhesive remover. it's in a red tin can. I just removed the ram from the tailgate and the word RAM from the doors yesterday. The ram on the tailgate has some hell of glue and rubber. Good Luck. I also used a heat gun on low. It heated up the rubber and glue. Just make sure you don't burn the clearcoat.

OOPS works really good also;) You will have to rub with your fingers to get it off and they will be SORE afterwards:(

I used a plastic,flexable scraper and goo-gone ---but wd-40 worked better

I tried the heat gun and goo-gone with lots a rubbing, it sucked.

Then I went and bought Stoner's Tarminator and the crap wiped right off. Any auto parts store should carry it.

Guys got all the letters of on tailgate...On the DODGE side i heated up
a little to take of the rubber first...Then used goo gone to take off adhesive
everything is off BUT there is like a shadow of the word DODGE...Did i burn
the clearcoat or what...:( :( :( If so i am pissed... I have a backup
plan but...

Nope... I don't think you "burned" the paint. I just think the paint under the emblem wasn't as faded as the rest of the paint. ;)

Try some paint cleaner, like Meguires cleaner wax or Fine Cut Cleaner. That should blend the paint so you won't see the "shadow". :)

Sorry I missed this..... You should have tried your best to keep the adhesive remover from seeping under the lower molding. If you soak the double sided tape that holds the molding too much, it could fall off.

Black 1...Thanks.Used Meguiars pre wax cleaner and worked like
a charm...Everything is o-k...Truck is de-badged...:D Thanks guys...:)

Right now truck is under cover in garage...Would not see very well...
Definetly post pics next year...Also ordered blackout headlights...Can't
wait for next spring already...:D :D :D

Another de-badgeing well done:) now where are the pics:D
