Royal purple makes a good 75/90 weight synthetic and so does moble 1. I run the rp 75/90 gear oil and no problems.

I meant for you to just pull the shifter lever (four bolts) and pour the fluid into the top of the transmission!
But what you did was pretty kewl!
Thanks...i think the Challenger is my favorite now since its so easy to drive.gunu said:hey westx what a sweet selection of rides u have wow !!!! thought i was dreaming !!! lol

SHARPIMAGE...its easy to bleed the clutch but two people are needed. Crack the bleeder screw 1/8-1/4 turn while depressing the clutch petal....then close the bleeder and release the clutch. Do that about 12-15 times while maintaining the fluid level in the reservior. I'd use DOT 3 fluid for now, the expansion rate of syn. can cause release problems.
Any DOT 3 or 4...stay away from Dot 5 or Dot 5.1Sharpimage said:Appreciate the how-to Westxsrt10! Any particular brand of DOT3 you
would recommend?
Sharpimage said:gotcha, thanks bud Once the weather clears up i'll be going and
getting some DOT3/DOT4 fluid and see if that helps at all.. I'll keep you
folks posted, with pictures of course!

Alittle History:
I got the centerforce and Viper master/Slave Cyl. Upgrade. Had it installed at about 13,000 miles on it. I broke the clutch in just like instructed. That is hard to do! But anyways in 1500 miles the release piont was changing every time I shifted. I was on a road trip and just made it back to town and stoped at a red light and that was all she wrote. The trasns was toast. To this day I have NO idea why.
But now I recenter my shifter about every oil change. And Change the fluid to Motul 600 and have had no Issues.
The Motul 600 is for performance bike and seems to hold up against the heat very well.
Sharpimage said:Alright folks i'm in the middle of bleeding the clutch system and i've followed
Tony's instructions and then i tried Westx's instructions.. The pedal is
coming up fully but damn does it feel squishy... I've bled any air from
the system according to Tony's instructions but i'm still not getting
the right pedal feel.. It's just too squishy. Also, when i bled it according
to Westx's post on pg 3 it barely dribbled out as apposed to squirting out. :dontknow:
Basically i have my dad in the drivers seat press the pedal slowly and when
he starts he tells me to start so i open the bleeder screw and let it drip
then before the pedal is on the floor he tells me to close it so i close it.
Then he releases the pedal slowly and we repeat the process. We've done
this about ten times now and the pedal feels no more firmer
then it did after bleeding.. Am i doing something wrong?
