Viper Cam

Just a question, why can't we use normal performance viper cam's? Aren't they the same motor from the viper and ram?

you can, but the profiles are very different, you need a cam with a profile for a 5000 lb truck instead of a 3500lb car, the trq and the way it comes in is different, but to answer your question the cam will fit

anyone running a 708 cam or any of the off the shelf cams has done it man, alot of folks have run them, it does not hurt, but does not performe as good as one designed for the trucks, you will get hp, and you will make numbers, but it may not be in the right rpm
