I have the Porter Cable 7454 orbital polisher, I need to get the wheels to do the polishing/waxing/buffing. Anyone have any preffered wheels, or are there any multipurpose wheels available (ie cotton, lambskin, synthetic, etc.)? My truck hasn't been washed in 2 months and hasn't been waxed in over a year.

go to www.properautocare.com, it depends what you're trying to accomplish if you're choosing a pad. I'd say clay it and then polish, glaze, seal.

Silverback has suggested the very best solution. Foam pads are the very best for polishing, and waxing.

Someone educate me on diff between glaze and wax?:dontknow:

If I'm not mistaken, a glaze is similar to a wax, but a wax is applied last. you could go glaze then sealer then wax. they tell me that wax melts off pretty easily in FL climates so I'll stick with the glaze/sealer
