luis (LUISBEE3617) & i went down for the friday night 1/4 mile races last night, had a blast !!!

my reaction times, 60's, & 1/4's all got better as the night went on..... 13.2 was my best on my NA v-10..... :) i need drag radials & i think i can get high 12's - traction was my biggest issue. :(

i don't, but i'd venture to guess close to sea level & it was a cool night, around 70 degrees........:)

If there was a big smiley for "GREEN WITH ENVY" I would show it to you right now.
Our local track is notorious for bad air. Actual elevation is 3500 feet but it is more often in the low 5s and I have seen it near 6000 feet on a hot day. It drives people nuts and they complain about how slow their vehicles are; Especially those coming in that are used to racing on better tracks.
I picked up more than 6 M.P.H. going out to a sea level track, even on a so-so day.

what do you turn in the 1/4 @ sea level ?

Before I installed the Strikers, I had a Stage 2, B&B catback and Hi-Flows, and ran a best of 13.31 @ 106.4 (sea level).
Around here (average), 13.8 or 13.9 @ 100 on a 1/2 decent day.

I no longer have enough traction to race without drag radials.
UPS sent one of my wheels to Australia! I guess that kind of sounds like "CANADA". I haven't had a chance to race it yet at the track as I am still waiting on 1 wheel.

I went with the American Eagle Alloy 058 series (17") and the 390-40R-17 M&H Racemaster drag radials. The wheels were from Steve's Discount Wheels near Chicago and the drag radials from RPM Outlet in Houston, BOTH were awesome to deal with. Both M&H and American Eagle themselves were sold out.
Rick Collins in the main Seattle warehouse went above and beyond to find us some wheels.
The one assembly I tried on for size, barely cleared the balancing weights past the calipers, but they do.
As for appearance, they kind of stick out the sides more than I like (quite 1970s) but we really don't have a lot of options with our trucks.

what kind of cost am i looking at ?

do you have a part# for the rims or did you just go by the dodge 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern ?

5 x 5.5 x 17 Series 058 will work just fine. Part number= 0589-8057 http://www.eaglewheels.com/058.htm
They don't come with center caps, they are a few bucks extra.
Under $500/pr. for the drag radials.
The wheels are less $$ than that:

PS I'd go with the tallest 17s or you will see firsthand just how huge those wheel wells really are. Even with the tallest tires, you lose nearly 2" O.D. OVER THE O.E.M. 22S.

can i use my stock lugs on these rims ?

what tire pressure do you run @ the track ?
