Hey folks! Some GREAT news for everyone:
PHIL IS HEADED HOME!!!!
It seemed to take *forever* to get the final discharge papers (I arrived at 11AM, and finally left at 2:30PM), but it eventually happened.
WARNING: Pic size is LARGE.
Here's Phil about ready to shed his spiffy hospital PJ's and put on a cool new shirt:

From L-R: Chip (brother), Mrs. Smith (mom), Phil (Phil), Lori (sister-in-law).

I didn't need to remind Phil of anything. He pointed right at it:

We shook hands and said our goodbyes and that we'd see each other soon. The Smith family said they were extremely grateful for the time I'd spent with Phil during his stay (43 days). I said it was no problem at all, and part of the 'bonus program' when you hook up with the VTCOA.
Phil told me to tell you all he'll be back online ASAP and wanted to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts, prayers, flowers, photos and gifts.
He'll be back with us soon enough!
Phil- keep up the great work!
