Saturday I drove down to Florida to have Torrie re-dyno my truck.
My recent mods were Ported intake, Hardland sharp rockers with hardened pushrods. The rest was preventative maintenance or bling mods.
Here's my first dyno ( 28 August 2010)
And yesterdays ( 5 March 2011)
So the questions are more than likely going to be, was the ported intake worth the money..... The ports are huge now (matching the intake gaskets) compared to stock but is restricted again on the stock heads. So I think it will take ported heads or strikers to see real gains from the intake being ported. Now for those not planning on doing heads, I don't think it's worth the money but if your trying to build a strong NA truck (like i am) and your trying to get the most out of it, i think porting the intake would show significant gains once you pair with nice heads! But I'm shooting for 600RWHP NA with Strikers and a cam. I strongly believe I'll reach my goal once I get the strikers....
