So during my lunch i go checkout this car i saw on autotrader, the ad says $24900, i drive the car, like it, go inside to do some numbers, and they come back at me with a $36000 number i was like wtf, so i showed them the autotrader ad and the guy said it cannot be must be an error, his manager comes out and says there no way he could honor this price, he basically laughed in my face, is there any way i could get these idiots to honor the price? the autotrader ad does not have a disclaimer saying something like not responsible for typos or errors, should i follow through with this or just drop it?:dontknow:

Its no different than a mistake in a newspaper ad. They would just need to type a retraction and post it in the store to be covered.

the autoshopper & autotrader books do have a disclaimer for your information. They make price mistakes all the time!

They screwed up on the price in their add on the first 10 I bought. By law, they must honor it! Go for it man... it really pisses them off:D

Mehh i passed on it, it was on a modded jeep srt8, i wrote a complain on BBB and the next day chrysler headquarters called me to find out what had happened, i told them everything and they asked me when was my deadline for a car search, we will see what happens :D.
