Flexplate / Flywheel ring gears

Cant be a different size or the starter wouldnt engage it. You would think that the people that do this for a living would actually have a clue. Maybe contact someone else about doing this.

The ring gear from a flexplate would work if it is cut off, but thats just extra work and Im sure a flex plate is more money than just a ring gear from a RC. But I havent looked into the pricing of pieces.

Come to think of it, I have a local company here that makes ring gears. If I knew the outside diameter, thickness, inside diameter, and tooth count I most likely could have them made for you guys.

Thing is, why dont the people manufacturing these parts have the same access to this kinda work?

Yellow is correct! Only thing I did to mine was count the teeth and compare next to one another before my 6 speed swap and all was the same. Obviously crank bolt pattern and size as well.;)

So do they sell the ring gear for the flywheel seperately? I wasn't able to find a part number for it online.

And yes you would think that the company making these would have all the information.

The flexplate new from Dragon is ~$170.
