I am in need of one rear axle for an 04 Ram SRT 10 . If someone could steer me to a wrecker or someone with a spare. I would appreciate it.

how far are ya from Washington state????

ya need the right (passenger side) or the left (drivers side) axle????

Sounds like its time to have some better axles built Norbert.

I talked with tony about maybe strange or Mosier making some and he was told they wouldn't make them for our diffs. The distance is to far from bearing to flange face.

Not to far from Washington state. 8-10 hours I would guess. Why do you ask?

Need to just install a different housing end, like a big or small Ford 9" end. Then we can get all the benefits, like C-clip eliminators, smaller brakes, locker (spool if wanted), etc.

Someone like The Gear Center in Edmonton can do this Im sure. I haven't researched it completely, but that is basically what Roy had done to his housing to fit the locker and axles that he got from Dom.

I talked to Norbert yesterday, he replaced the left side with a new one from the gear center and wanted to get a right for a spare, but they increased the price dramatically from what he paid the first time.

The right needs to be replaced. It is bent as was the left. But not as bad. I should have bought both axles at the same time. I wasn't sure I was getting the right part so I only ordered one. When I picked it up , I was assured spicer had 20 left so I took my time ordering the second one! Now the gear center tells me spicer is empty and has discontinued production and could find 2 with dodge for approximately 800 each or ship one from Alaska for over $500. I would like to find a used one if i can. Winter is co
Img so I am not in a hurry

I notice a driveline vibration at 110 mph now . I am concerned about wheel hop on one side now with drag radials tearing up the diff again, due to the bent axle. Might have contributed to the spider gear mess I had earlier in the season!
