So I don't post on here much anymore but I still read through the threads every few days.
I have had something on my mind for quite sometime now and thought I would get some people's opionons on the forum since I've been on here for awhile.
I have kept in touch with the guys that bought my trucks (especially #2596) So I text him in early August to see how things are going with the truck and he says GREAT except the title issue. I ask him whats going on with it and he says Missouri won't issue him a new title.
Most on here know that I bought the truck damaged and had a friend fix it for me. I had the truck fixed and inspected and Arkansas issued me a ''previous damage title'' which is what I expected anyways. So when I put the truck up for sale on this forum all of that was out in the open and there where no issues when the truck was bought.
The guy that bought the truck from me was from Missouri and that just so happens to be where the truck was sold new. From what he says Missouri won't issue a title to him because they have already salvaged the truck and will not issue him a new title. I think this is absolutly stupid because the title I give him is good but just ''previous damage''
He has told me that after May of next year he has to do something because he won't be able to renew his tags. He is by no means mad at me for the situation. He loves the truck and has put almost 20k miles on it without any issues:rock:
I told him that I might be interested in buying the truck back. I have lots of memorys and heart ache in that truck
I am by no means obligated to buy it back but I'm the only person that can buy the truck with a title since the title his bank has is still an Arkansas title with my name on it. His only other option will be to sell the truck without a title and that means for nothing basically
I would really like to help the guy out but I only have a certain amount of money I can turn loose of and feel comfortable about it. What would be a fair offer on a deal like this?:dontknow: Sorry for the long thread this has just been on my mind for 2 months now
