Just a 408 stroker motor with a stock trans. We did some real trick shit to the motor that worked out great. He can gain a half a second or so from a good trans he needs a bigger throttle body he hasn't done hardly any weight reduction he still has ac and his slicks are even spinning on the wheel for god sakes lol. We expect deep into tens next year n/a.
 
That's awesome! Congrats on the strong run, and kudos to the work it has taken to get it there. I'm sure you'll be in the 10s soon!
 
Congrats on the nice run, I'm almost ready for wiring and exhaust on the 6.1 swap I'm doing. I think those little Dakotas are badass, that was the first Dodge I ever bought and started me on my current ownership of four Dodge products and financial ruin, lol.

looks like a reg cab version of my buds. He has a 408 stroker with pro charger i believe. N/A is better IMO

Lol aww man you know we all can't stop. It's going to be a long winter in the garage everyone has big plans. White lightning will be deeper into 9's. Blue lightning will be deeper in tens. Red Dakota r/t will be in the 10's. Black lightning will be 920's or better. And my silver 10 will well....... Hopefully move under it's own power lol. :dontknow: Would love to get everyone together for a race day. Race trucks is where it's at. :rock:

we will over the winter man, for sure, get with your guys and maybe we can get a few of he fla numbnutts to come and we will have a weekend down in myrtle or something, probably gonna need a weekend off both of us during the winter LOL
