Hey guys. I listed this engine for sale a while back but no one actually came up with the money. At the time I said I wanted $5000 Firm, but times just keep getting tougher so I am lowering it to $3995 which is an absolute STEAL! Originally I pulled this engine out of my 2006 RC for a rebuild due to low compression on one cylinder because I had a paxton on it. Well, after about 3 mind changes, I ended up putting a bone stock engine back in it, and returned it to 100% stock, and sold it to a dealer. Now, over a year later the motor for the truck that have spent countless hours building and researching is finally ready. Only problem is, I dont have a Viper car or Truck to put it in. It is a complete longblock, but I purposely didnt install the heads or intake manifold simply because I want the person who buys this engine to see the work first hand. The engine was completely torn down and machined the cylinders just a tad over, and I reassembled it with Diamond Racing Forged Pistons and Rings, Clevite Bearings, factory camshaft, factory rods, and the original forged factory crank was turned .10. It was cleaned and baked and looks like a freaking crate motor. The engine was assembled by myself and my builder/machinist. I dont have any big names to throw out there, but I'll tell you this: All the work was done with an incredible amount of pride. This was supposed to be MY engine going into MY truck, so every clearance, spec, and torque were PERFECTLY executed. This will serve someone an excellent engine for miles and years to come if it is maintained properly. This engine will handle 12 or 15 lbs of boost no problem, probably more. I can provide the VIN# from the original truck this engine was removed from. This engine will work in all 2004-2006 Ram SRT-10 Viper Trucks, and all 2003-2007 Viper cars. The heads are stock, and just checked out completely at my machine shop and are 100% ready. I had intended on using stock heads with the paxton because as many members will testify, paxton-trucks seem to offer a better bang-for-the-buck with stock heads. The intake manifold is stock except it has been powder coated black to match my old truck. The factory push rods and rockers are included. Knock sensors, and various other sensors are included(see pics). The factory clutch slave cylinder and hydrolics are included. The valve covers are included. The factory exhaust manifolds are included. Water Pump is included. I have also included the cam and crank sensor pig-tails in case you put it in an 04-05 model, you will need these. No throttle body, PCM, wire harness, or oil pan as all this stuff was used on the truck the engine came from. Its ready for your choice of Cam, exhaust, Throttle body, rockers etc. Compression is still factory spec. It will make a wonderful NOS engine or Paxton/Turbo engine. I built it to use a Paxton on it. Anyway, I need it to go away. I need $3995 for this complete long block engine. This engine is worth SO MUCH MORE! This is a huge savings for whoever buys it. This engine is new and never been run. I will consider trades of any kind of value, but keep in mind, I'm selling so cheap, I would expect the buyer to be fair. I dont check my PM box very often so its best to call me at (817)556-1133. I am close to Fort Worth, Texas. I will be happy to help arrange shipping, if needed. I have a bunch of pics but i cant post them on here from my iPhone, unless someone can tell me how. If anyone wants pics just get me a number and I'll text them over, but only if you are serious about buying this engine, so PLEASE dont ask for pics unless your serious. Thanks for reading guys and sorry I had to jump the Viper Truck ship. Financial obligations forced it. Call me anytime. Robert

What kind of compression would it be with stock heads, and how do you figure it'd be built to handle 12-15lbs boost with factory rods?

If you know something about this engine, speak up Homie. You may be saving one of us a serious headache.

Let's just say I dealt with him personally and we still never resolved the problems we had with a transaction. Re-read about the engine and also his last thread about the same engine. Not really built, just forged pistons I believe. Factory rods, caps, etc.
Built for SC or Turbos:dontknow:

so with caveman's & fatjack's answers its a definite MAYBE????:toilet::dontknow::elefant::aetsch::D
