Thinking of buying these, but would like to see them bolted on a 10.
Can anyone with them installed post a few pics? Mainly I'd like to see how the
front bracket bolts to the frame.

Have a budy help you, two man job. It was for me. I have to take down the christmas lights off the house. If no one post up pics, I will when i'm done with the lights.

not the best pic, but its what I had in photobucket

You have to be able tO press the rubber bushing out of the spring eye ! Can be difficult. Then grease up the replacement one supplied with the kit and install it in the eye of the spring. Then the bolt goes through the bracket and eye to remount at original location. The bracket becomes part of the front mount

What kind of 60's are you cutting? My caltracs worked for me until I hit the mid 1.6 range.

To be honest with you, I don't know. Santeen and Nick are the only ones that ran my truck down the track. Not a big track guy. I have the 10 for everyday fun. But when I get back from Tony's shop. when all the work is done, I'll start running it.:D

Thanks guys, still thinking about these. Just want to get rid of
the wheel hop and keeping it straight. Scared the crap out of my wife
A few weeks ago when I got on it and it started going sideways.

Can the bushings be removed with the suspension still on the truck? Any tips for
removing the bushings?

Take the leaf spring pack compleatly off and have the front bushings pressed out and the new bushing pressed back in. Makes it a piece of cake.

set the rubber on fire. should shoot the center sleeve out. push out the melted rubber. air chisel the outer sleeve out. clean the spring eye bore.

i made an installer from an old Cat head bolt, washers & a plate off of a tool & sucked the Cal-Trac bushins right in.

i did mine on the truck. mostly cause i screwed up & put the jack stands where i could not get to the rear hangers

It can be done with one person but would be so much easier with two people. I used solid aluminum bushing when I installed mine (dont remember if those were supplied or not).

I used a "spacing tool" , hardened steel tapered wedge, and drove it under the eye slightly to loosen the eye. clamp a vise grip directly behind it it will fly out when you least expect it! hammered the OEM bushing out with a hammer and a large deep socket. then install the aluninum one . remove the vice grip and spacing tool. alittle crude but it worked!! i think the bushings come out from inside to out.

Yup, the solid aluminum sleeve comes with them.
