need help asap

UPDATE:: Went out this morning and checked fuses, all appear to be good. Pulled the batt cables and unplugged and replugged the ecm plugs... put the cables back on... nothing changed on the starting issue, but now the only blinker that works is the right rear... no other blinker works. The left side is completely out... and only rear on the right. Hazards on only the one still...

*insert frustrated face and comment here*

any ideas?
 
Biggest problem with issues like this is you need to be able to flash your VIN onto a ecm so it is a dealer item. Is there anyway to test the ECM without the truck?
 
I called a dealer and they said the truck has to be with the ecm in order to diagnosis it... I really dont want it going to a dealer :/
 
Sounds like the TIPM module (Fuse Box) got wet. Was it raining when it quit? Did you wash the engine down?
 
was not raining when it happened and i didnt wash the motor down...

More updates:: found that fuse #2 30a engine control relay, asd spare is blown

when replaced with another 30a fuse it blows right when the key is turned.

does anyone have a wire diagram to this fuse so i can check for bad wires?
 
Since you said you dont have spark have you looked at all your plug wires? Could be a plug wiring grounding out. Crappy thing is youll need to pull your intake manifold off to inspect all the wires. Check the coils out while you have the manifold off also.
 
im going to pull the plugs on the ecm and replace the fuse to see if it blows with the ecm not there. That should limit it. If it doesnt blow with ecm unplugged i would suspect that the ecm is fried.
 
sorry to hear about the truck. did you just buy this recently? if so take it back to the person you got this from because this doesnt sound like a new issue to the truck!
 
Update: Removed the 3 plugs from the ecm and replaced the blown fuse, went in the truck and turned the key to on and the fuse did not blow. Put the top 2 plugs back into the ecm and the fuse still didnt blow. Once the 3rd plug was back in the fuse blew instantly.

I would suspect that this is a bad ecm if the fuse only is blowing once the ecm is plugged in... correct me if im wrong?

Just bought the truck about 3 weeks ago from a dealership... already put 700 miles on it. I believe the dealership sold it in good faith. The truck has never missed a beat until now. I was walking sti's like nothing so i know the truck was running how it should..
 
Yea MoparConnection is right and you did say the plug is melted so the plug is probley grounding itself out. Just cut the plug off and tape up the wires since your not running rear o2 sensors anyways
 
i checked and the plug is actually the plug on the o2 sensor itself which is connected to nothing on the truck. The rear o2's have the rear cat deletes/resistor box's hooked up to them
 
resistor blocks??? do you mean the o2 simulators? they maybe shorted. disconnect them and see if the fuse still blows
 
Well i guess the transistor modulator is tooast brutha. Might as well just give that ugly flat black truck to me :D JK hahaha

The big thing that is bothering me though is that I still can not read codes. If the ecm fuse blows does that make is so I cant check codes at all?
