Ontariobee reminded me of a mod i did to my last truck, and i thought i would do it again on this one. It didnt turn out as good. i used Krylon Plastic Black. I scrubbed it down with scotch brite and dawn, then wiped it with denatured alcohol before i painted it. After shaking for 2 minutes, This paint sprayed in a splatter vs a mist. Tried a second can and thought it would do better. It was the same. The finish is very glossy and has almost a wrinkled finish texture.

I was going for a subdued look instead of the gray oxidized, but now it stands out more. I think i may sand it down and re-spray it in flat black.

Think it turned out alright, but imo the before looked pretty good also. At least it doesnt look worse though right lol
