These little nuggets were built from 1998 to 2003 for a total run of 12,000 units. This means that our trucks are more rare than the Prowler. Most Prowlers are selling from 28K to 35K depending on mileage. What the hell are we doing wrong??
Its the crazy people selling them for so cheap. Then everyone else has to do the same to compete and try to sell. Its just the ripple effect
They didn't haul ass either though. They were small and underpowered. Our trucks will increase in value when people stop selling then cheap.
to each their own my friend. I don't like the open snowmobile wheels up front with what was it 17 & 20's
well over a course of 6 yrs they only made 12k...we only were built for three....dont know maybe because ours are trucks hell look at lightnings
+1 I agree I drove a Copper color 2001 Plymouth Prowler once. It was just a car. 3.5 V6 high output motor out of the Chrysler 300M at that time. I think they ran 14.2 in the 1/4 mile though because they were so light weight. My dad had new '94 & '95 SRT-10 Vipers back in the day which I liked 100 times more that a Prowler!!!
thats part of why im gonna hang on to my ram for dear life. the iron 8.0 only had a 10 year run while the viper continued on for what... 4th gen now? i give it 10 years and the muscle trucks is what everybody is gonna want to collect. the lightnings, ss 454 chevy's, and the 8.0's were the 90's and 00's muscle craze. sorta like the diesels in the last 10.. hell 5 years now.. i'd hang on to what u got for dear life guys. sell the house and dog before the truck.
I have noticed that the prices for our trucks are low!!! If you were to build our trucks today, it would cost us 60-70k. I am at a loss.
Prowler/Viper sold A customer of mine sold his early 90's Viper and his '99 Prowler at the Barrett-Jackson auction last year in Scottsdale. I believe he got $60K for the Prowler and $55K for the Viper. Prowler has the matching little trailer and only like 800 miles on it...attached a photo of them both sold.
