when i go to tune the truck and it says turn key off but leave engine off, i do that and it comes up saying "wrong vehicle, return to stock? press select

Sounds like the vin to the tune isnt matching the trucks vin
Didnt you buy it Used ?
I bet the kid never returned my old truck back to stock ? You bought my old sct right ?

I'm not sure if thats the problem or not, kinda seems that way. I'd be pissed if he didn't return it to stock. I still have his phone # tho
I don't know how you would be able to tell
You would have to plug that SCT into his truck and return it the stock tune.
He sold the truck though .

Yea i'm hoping someone whos tried installing a sct that was locked chimes in, so i know forsure. I'd have to send it SCT i'm assumeing
It will have to go SCT,Sorry man.
You can try to email Torrie he may know for sure
sounds like it's locked... i'm guessing you'd have to send it to SCT to unlock... then to torrie for tunes...
