Just picked up a 2002 Bayliner Ciera 2252. What you guys think for a first boat? New to this whole boating stuff. Had it all checked out and my bud said it was a solid deal. Cruised it around for a few hours yesturday in the harbour and the boat feels strong and solid. Very easy to drive also.

Looks like a lot of fun

I never got into boats. everyone I know that owns one said you better have deep pockets, and deep pockets I do not have. Does look like a sweet boat you got there, congrats.

nice little walkaround. make sure and change the oil in the foot. if its milky you got a seal needs replacing.

Cool man, I love life on the water. Boats can be a money pit, but just like anything else you just need to take care of it. I want a double decker pontoon!

Thanks everyone! Im excited to have this boat for my family and I. We plan to take a lot of trips to Catalina Island since its about 30 miles from me and also plan to do LOTS of fishing on it

Yes definitly. I checked all we could check while boat was in the water. Thursday im pulling it out of the water to do bottom paint and store out of water moving fwd. Will be changing all fluids and servicing everything.

Nice new toy!!!! Are you guys printing this money or what???

Yea man its the new trend hahaha. Accually i traded my older lexus for this boat. Lexus is valued at 11k and the guy was asking 12k so we ended up doing a straight swap. Worked out because the lexus was just a spare car for us

Looks great and if you use it often well worth the extra dollars in repairs and maintanece

YUP. Itll be stored at home in the drive way but the launch ramp is about 15 minute or less drive from me so itll get taken out at least in the harbour 1-2 times a month
