So basically the runner is more powerful and needs a experienced driver and raptor is better steering and handling

No, the raptor has more power, 411 vs the ram 390. Basically the only thing the ram does better is the high speed jumps.

These guys were using them for what they were meant for and ended up with bent trucks

I think he's kind of funny, the guys over at PickupTruck.com had entirely different results were the Ram killed the Raptor

I know what he was talking about, the people bending their frames off road were running them well beyond what ford intended, just like jack has snapped several axles spraying the **** out of his truck at the track...does that mean an srt10 is a piece of ****? Because a few of us break them at the track even though that's what they were "meant for"?


Look at the article you just posted they RACED them off road, and came to the same conclusion that the video did about the ram soaking up high speed jumps better than the raptor, in other words the test you posted was setup to play to the rams strong points and didn't mention anything about daily drive ability.

No pee pee in my wheaties, just pointing out that all cars will break when missused. In fact if you read the article about the raptors it says many had aftermarket springs and and some were running 120mph off road. Which is why it is a similar situation to the axles in your truck, you are using it way beyond what dodge intended. Not that there is anything wrong with it I think it's great and like you I beat the **** outta mine at the track but because I do I can't really blame dodge, just like running a raptor off road at 120mph you can't really blame ford.
 
I don't believe these trucks were designed to be drag raced!! just high speed cruisin'
 
This was a stupid comparison anyways, IMO. They were comparing a factory truck to a highly modded truck. If the contest is which manufacturer builds a better per-runner, the answer is obviously Ford, because they build the only factory per-runner. And for what the Mopar prerunner kit costs, someone could build a heck of a lot better toy than the RamRunner. And for the record, I am a die-hard Mopar guy.
