Hey guys I cleaned the truck "completely" bout 2 or 3 weeks ago and used liquid wax (didn't have time for paste) and it didn't really last and didn't do as well as I think paste will...... so im gonna do paste today will it be ok to use paste since I used liquid couple weeks ago??

The harder the wax is to go on and off the longer it will last.
Use a good quality electric polisher! Your arms will appreciate it!!

If it was me I would start new like nothing happened 3 weeks ago. Wash it, clay bar it, dawn or wax stripper then paste wax it with a random orbital buffer with microfiber pad to apply and wool pad to remove.
