Been thinking about selling my 06 QC then getting an RC. Has anybody done this before? Am I going to regret this after? I feel like my QC is alot more practical but its not really my daily ....idk what to do

RC, RC, RC!!!!:D

I think, wenn its only your fun car, then take the RC! QC ist even for the daily driver. Its more fun with the T56! I think so.

I can tell you that I have a RC and love it. I am a tool dealer and before I bought my truck I talked to some techs at one of my Dodge dealers. They recommended the RC, mainly because of the tranny. Make no mistake.....I love these trucks no matter the config!!! I cant give you an opinion on a QC because I havent driven one. I like to shift so I am right where I belong. You have to do a lot of shifting so if you get tired of that sort of thing then a RC is not for you.

Yea I miss the shift thats my main reason, i keep reaching for the clutch, I forgot to mention I have an 05 Hemi QC also

Put a 6 spd in the QC! Problem solved!! And for the amount of money your going to lose to the dealership that should cover the cost of the swap!

How much will the swap run me? And is it good for the truck or will she be in the shop every week?

Not to bash the quads cause there still badass but really a sport truck has 2 doors and a short bed...Two totally diffrent beasts......somebody will trade on here!!!!!!! (NOT ME THO).....Plus the odds are in your favor.. all it takes is one of the quad cab guys to knock a chick up(again)....and your in there.!!!

RC, no comparison!!
1/2 second faster in the quarter mile. Since you live in Brooklyn put in a 4.88 gear and really raise hell with it!!

I have 30k miles on my swap and at least 100 passes at track and dozens of Mexico races on the same Centerforce clutch I bought half used ;)
I rape almost any RC on this forum with similar engine mods and have better track times as many N2O, SC, and Turbo trucks. :)
I shift my Quad Cab as a daily driver. Only way I'd have it and to see a QC trucks porpoise thru the gears, dropping then coming up between shifts is spectacular.
I would spend the say 6-7K for the swap and love your Quad Cab again.
SRT2Slow came to Texas and rode in mine as we raped Lightnings, Mustangs, and a new Camaro. He was sold and is now 6 speed Quad Cab himself.
I freaking love it in case you cant tell :burnout:
Watch these vids and see yourself ;)
