Hope that works... Falls off because the piping to the turbo is only 2.5" but it spools quick. I'll post more info and pics sometime tomorrow if there's interest
 
The only rear mounted turbo I am aware of is the STS, is that what you have?
 
Started that way, turbo took a **** now it's got a precision turbo using sts's piping
 
How long have you had the truck? Historically, STS and 10's don't play we'll together.

Built motor or not, it's days are numbered. I'm not trying to be negative about your truck, just trying to be helpful. Great power numbers too.
 
I think it may be time to give STS systems a break! It is a form of supercharging no different than a paxton , Roe or procharger. Back when the STS was piling up engines, tuning these trucks was difficult. The SCT software didn't exist. I think the VEC was the only option for precision tuning and the ability to write boosted fuel and timing tables. That has changed. There are some great tuners out there now like Torrie or Chris Jenkens! So lets encourage this new type of supercharging as another option for these beasts

Agreed, people seem to forget that a good number of roe trucks came apart too.

The engine gives a fawk less who made the turbo, piping, blowjob valve, waste gate, etc!!!! Its not a brand name lover like most humans! It's an engine!
It cares about how much compression, cylinder pressure, air fuel mixture, etc. boast it, spray it, blow it, as long as supporting mods and tuning are good so are you. Just saw a 1300 rwhp Viper Coupe take a 1500 Lamborghini and they make many passes at that HP running the Texas Invitational Half Mile last weekend.
And there were many I'm the 1000rwhp range running smooth as silk ;)

Thats true.....

STS is in my backyard and they have some incredible builds. Many many moons ago, I was talking to them (after they stopped offering STS for the Viper) and it came down to the tuning. There was also an oil starvation issue with #3 cylinder that it seems no one could put a positive finger on (at that time) There are a bunch of STS setups on local MOPARS, just none of them are 10's. The last Viper I know that had one on it (Gen II) lost #3 and went bang about 3 years ago. The system may not be bad, however one thing is for certain, it is very unforgiving. I'm sure that can be said about any FI setup
 
What does oil starvation to cylinder#3 have to do with the turbo ?

It was later determined that harmonic vibrations caused by the turbo were resonated through the extra long piping required for a rear mount turbo. This pipings proximity to the #3 cylinder allowed the unique harmonics to aerate the oil for just that cylinder. Interestingly, this vibration could be countered by leaving the left turn signal on at all times. The sound produced by the turn signal relay would actually dull the sound waves being transmitted from the turbo piping to the #3 cylinder. Another common solution is to cover the outside of the block where cylinder #3 is with chewed bubblegum. If I was the OP I would install the gum immediately, before damage occurs.
