Anyone out there have a cool display for die cast cars or where to get them? I'm not into the acrylic plastic ones, I need something a little nicer or classier. I have about a dozen cars that sit in storage because I have no way to display them. Any ideas?

technically if you take them out of the packaging their value will go way down:dontknow:

While we are on this subject, I'd like to have a nice case to display all my NIB Hot Wheels, any suggestions?

:top:I also have large amounts of unopened hotwheels...and matchbox.....and prob too many die cast also!!!!!I still love toys (like these)...and the larger ones are pretty cool too!!

Toys are awesome. I always get a kick out of people who tell me how neat it is that I do things like play with hot wheels with my sons. Guess they don't realize that I enjoy it almost as much as the kids do.

Ironhead and Mopar-or-no-car, how do you guys display your hot wheels / matchbox's?

I do not know what your looking for but here is few to look at,Personally i would try to build one out of some nice wood.

Those are nice cases! I need something that will allow me to keep them in the package. Obviously you haven'y seen me try to use wood tools

I have thought about this extensively....the only solution i could come up with that would satisfy my OCD would take a sheet of your choice, cabinet grade plywood-diamond plate-engine turned aluminum- destressed copper- etc.etc.....and cut slots in it for the blister package to stick out, leaving the cardboard behind the sheet, and you could stack them on top of another to achieve proper spacing.....you could frame them in groups ( any size you wish) and use a theme for each frame, or use the same materal for all of them:burnout:.......

I also have a few of these for the x mas tree....they are plastic clips that slide into the window of any matchbox style car...as long as the windows are down

The tree clips are very cool. I dig your idea about cutting openings in a couple sheets of diamond plate, I just don't think I have the patience to do so.

Alum diamond plate wouldnt be too bad...u could prob make up a jig....i think engine turned alum sheet ( the pattern thats a bounch of lil circles over top of one another) would be awesome......This could be a money maker!!!!:top::eating:
