Starting my new mods and new year

Save a few $G's more and do heads/cam tune. Even with long tube headers & a programmer your not gonna get the wow factor in a QC. Tony who lives here in Denver has the Red 05 QC and with the stock exhaust he pulls hard off the line, but with the SCT Programmer & Belanger Long Tubes I pull him on the top end.

You could always buy visual mods but if your looking for a little wow factor heads/cam & tune is where I'd put my money.

Well guys i have 3k to spend. what mods would you recommend to spend the money on?

Could do all your bolt ons with 3k, headers high flow cats , remove the rear cats, cat back exhaust, cold air intake, throttle body, under drive pulley and tune. Might not get all of that but you would have a good starting point for a nice N/A set up. All that stuff would work with a head/cam set up in the future.

I agree 100% with BlackMamba50. Just because depending on what exhaust set up you go with... that could be 3-4k right there!

Options options and more options. See link below. I have the Bellangers but plan on full Billy Boat in the future. The Batram has the Billy Boat system. Search around for some of his videos. If you buy headers give me a call, I'll help you put them on, I've done a few sets.

What kind of exhuast u recomend steve

Ok. I was planning on swapping my old headers from my qc to my rc u think it will be possibly. Do u still have the same number so I can text u

these beast suck up money, i bought a tb, pulley, and tune and it was $1100.00. all my other stuff i did one thing at a time and it was expensive. i want some headers but ive heard mixed reviews on gains, and for that kind of money you would expect more, and if im not mistaking our manifolds arent a bad design at all

My advice is be patient and wait for others to sell their stuff. That's what I've done and in the process picked up powdercoated valve covers and intake manifold, a comp cam (brand new), B&B headers and catless midpipes with exhaust manifold gaskets included and ARP bolts, and MBRP exhaust with dual tips, all for like $2000 and all within the last 4months and all from this forum. I've also accumulated an extra set of stock exhaust manifolds to play around with or likely sell and a stock set of RC front springs for a inexpensive lowering option. Once I get the covers and manifold installed, I can then sell my stock ones and make some money back, along with the exhaust manifolds.
