Have you bled the hydraulics first before determining you need a clutch? Because regardless of the beating your truck gets I've never seen a clutch require replacement at that low of miles.

Yup many factory clutches hold up to hundreds of 1/4 mike passes and daily driving. What are your symptoms?

how do i do this?
i think this is the problem becuase it feels good i just have to pump the clutch

the clutch just feels loose its all the way to the end ..If i pump it it comes back but not to normal

After seeing a spec go through the floor on a truck id be scared ...it was a yellow fever 10...scary...and having seen the carnage from specs on srt4s.....just get me a little nervous

I have a orange one! Lol.( Centerforce) it works great!! I have JMB's release bearing kit and it is flawless!! I think you just need to bleed the hydraulics and it will work awhile longer. You will need to replace the release bearing soon so a clutch change is in your future.

how do i bleed it? never bleed a clutch before....

or should i just take it to my mechanic?

Glad this thread is up. Want to bleed my clutch as well. She gets soft at higher rpms. Makes me have to stay out of it longer than I would like to shift or it just won't shift.

I got a Spec stage 3+ and aluminum flywheel
Same here
Try bleeding it....

Only 1 srt10 failure? What's the back story on the truck, engine mods and what not. Mine has a ton of 5k clutch dumps on it with no problems so far

Ever bleed brakes before?

Only one that I know of but spec clutches are notorious for blowing up

And that's one more then we know of them centre force or Mcculoud or stock???

Ive had a twin turbo viper (maybe 800whp) here with an older single disc Spec, unknown which stage, it was really close to making a mess, springs and parts were very loose or fallen out. A viper truck in here recently (stock with N20 kit) had a Spec 3 come apart and do easily $15K worth of damage (went into the cab, broke block, broke trans case and input shaft, destroyed firewall, etc. Ive had two local SRT4's with Spec 3's go through the hood this year (not clutches I sold or installed), breaking the blocks and trans cases in both cases. No clutch is perfect or problem free but all these were just this past year, so you know what im avoiding at my shop.
