Kicker AMP Upgrade HELP

Just swapped the factory amp for the Kicker upgrade...wow what a pain in the A$$. Anyway, got it hooked up and tested it before I plugged the rest of the dash up and no sound. Plugged up everything the second time, turned on the truck, still no sound but every possible warning light came on, airbag,CEL, etc....what the hell did I do?

Did you plug the stock one back in to see if it worked if it don't maybe a fuse

No I didn't try that because I could see a light on the inside of the amp...plus it's a complete PITA to disconnect/connect these things. Maybe I need to disconnect the neg battery cable or something.

Yes, anytime you swap out an amp or do anything with a car stereo, disconnect the battery. Particularly if you are doing stuff with the amp.

Remote antena input to.activate the amp needs asignal.

What is the kicker upgrade? Is it a factory upgrade? new speakers,amp and sub?
