ran a 8.51 first run and ran a 8.45 my second run.....this was my first time ever running on slicks and this would be my 3rd run ever on this truck at the track....I also ran a 8.55 on street tires

Yeah your low ish 13's but not damn bad!
Glad you finally made it to the track. Welcome to the quest to break into the 12's.
you should easily be in the 12s if you can use those slicks, I ran 13.3 at 108 bone stock with a full tank of gas, and fully heat soaked...
Based on his times, he didn't hook any better with the slicks than he did with the streets.

Next week, power steering went kaput yesterday when I took her in to pick up a couple things,
This thing almost needs to be tuned down to actually get a good video on street tires, it just fries the tires in 1st 2nd 3rd at any rpm in any range, just driving along in 3rd at 50mph push the gas and fries em.. 4th gear will hold down low at 2-4k rpm, but when it hits the 4-5k + it starts to tear them off again around 100/110mph. have not had room to get her into 5th at any substantial gas yet... My buddy has a couple new go-pro's ill try to borrow and get hooked up..

What was your 60' and what was the temperature outside?
My truck bone stock with drag radials ran 60' 1.93 8.54 @ 81 mph in the 1/8th but it was 74 degrees outside.
Pretty interesting numbers there. I thought for sure that a 1.9x 60' would equal a high 12 pass. :dontknow:
My 13.09 was a 1.959 60' on the streets. It's oh so close, but not quite there.
What was your 1/8th time on that pass?
