Lambo Metallic Orange SRT 10

I've talked with the guy. It needs an oil pan gasket and a transmission rebuild It was black origionally and to be honest I wouldn't buy it just because of the coloruke:

I told him that he needs to add cash because of the trans. Is oil pan gasket change on these things a big deal?

It's been a few years but if I remember correctly you have to take the bolts out of the motor mounts and jack the front of the engine up.

The motor was built by Roe Racing and I was told the guy this person bought it from ran into a fence. Just cosmetic damage only but to be salvaged or previous built there was probably a little more damage than that:dontknow:


I don't have any problems with buying a damaged vehicle. My 04' RC was wrecked and at the time it was the only way I could afford a SRT-10. The guy that repaired it was a friend of mine and he done an exellent job fixing it:rock:

Its a steal, a rebuilt t56 from Tony is 1800, leaky seal no big deal... .. so for under 20k less than he spent on the mods you get the truck and mods.. PS love the color ive always loved lambo orange..

My concern is would it be difficult to get rid of in the future if I had to.

I would have bought it 3 weeks ago but the color IMHO (good or not) takes away from the value of the truck

Don't get me wrong I would buy it but not for 15k

I swear I've seen an add for that truck on eBay or something before? My Uncle wanted to buy it because it was orange and he's a huge KTM fan.

Cars or trucks with Salvage titles are worth 50 cents on the dollar. So if the truck is worth $20,000 with a good title this truck is worth $10,000. That's what car dealerships buy and trade them for. I've always liked Lamborghini pearl orange paint but NOT on our trucks!

I disagree. GTO = under the radar fast. You don't grab attention from the wrong crowd, i.e. Cops, like our trucks do. I loved my GTO and would definitely buy one again. Most people didn't care for the styling and most people can't launch the cars at the track because of the IRS.
