THANK YOU!!!! I am new the Viper community. I had a Lightning prior (be nice please). See pics below. I did, however, have an SRT8 Jeep that I just got rid of prior to buying the new rig. Picked up by accident.....2006 RC in black with 19K miles at dealership.

This was my "L". Heavily modded. Show and Go

Thanks again. Looking forward to alot of fun and modding. I remember in south FL....whenever we had Test and Tune night....there were always alot of SRT10's out there. Always loved them.

Already have my eye on a head/cam combo along with a pro charger set up, long tubes, and traction control. Then will go from there. Just retired from the Air Force after 21 years...and am ready to spend some of this money I have been saving. LOL:rock:

Your L sat nice. A H/C Procharger build will get you 1500 HP, no problem! Why did you sell the GCSRT8?

Oh, and thanks for your service!

Welcome, what kinda traction control you have in mind? Mechanical(giant sticky tires) or something electronic we aren't aware of?

Had a 2007 GC SRT8. Bought new...paid off this December....then traded on the new rig. :D Loved the Jeep...but always had a "thing" for these trucks.

I had a moderate drop on the "L". I had a 1/2 drop on it.

I want to stay stock for now on the bottom end. Thinking 600hp is my thresh hold for safe on these cast pistons/rods...correct?

Most likely Cal-Tracs. I had 58" long bars (rancho) on the "L". Don't think they would work on this thing. LOL

Then have to go either Wildwood or shave calipers (had to on my L as well) for some slicks. The calipers on this thing are ridiculously huge.

Welcome to the vtcoa. What was your best time in the L?

I actually had a stock bottom end on the "L". Everything else wasn't though. ;) I literally did everything you could WITHOUT pulling the motor. I was putting down around 550hp on Mustang ED dyno (last pull I believe) and had over 100K miles on her. I was running right around 11.6/11.7 at the track. There are a few vids on FunFordWeekend site of me at the track.

Welcome to the Club!!

I wouldn't BOOST a stock gen III viper engine regardless of tune!:D Been there done that ONCE!!:(:chain:

Hold off on the cal-tracs, there is something better in the works. Everyone has cal-tracs now just because its the only thing available, you'll find out real quick there is an extremely limited aftermarket for these trucks.

I hear very soon
They are in the works right now. Probably do a sign in to see how many are interested.

Roger that. But I like to play on the wild side. ;) BTW...you might have seen my "L" around Tampa. I was stationed there for 8 years at MacDill. Sam over at Coastal Dyno did all my work.

Welcome. Glad to see a fellow Tampa person on here. I moved to Tampa when I was 13, lived in Valrico. Joined the Army but went back to U of Tampa for college and commission. Been on MacDill AFB a million times. My high school girlfriend's dad retired out of MacDill, AF guy. Anyways, welcome aboard and there's a handful of 10's in the area that are on the forum, really good guys. If I'm back in the area sometime with my 10 I'll be sure and hit you up.
