Dallas Performance

Nothing bad to say about them, but likely they use the same tuners Vendors here use as SCT or piggyback systems are it for us. You'll pay top dollar and you be getting most of the same parts of the shelf that us Vendors sell to you. They are very well know around these parts for Lambos and such and do have some high power builds although I don't hear much about actual results at the tracks, Texas Mile, or Tx2K13 which are where all the beasts roam ;)
Not that mine are there either, but if I had that backing we'd be posted all over the webs and tracks ;)

I used Taylor at Dallas Performance last year on my built LQ9 6L in my 95' z71. Very impressed with his work cost me $400 and I'm sure he had at least 6 hours dyno and driving time to get it right.

My only problem is last summer I kept having trouble with it wanting to die with the A/C on or just idling in general it would just die a lot of times. I did have to drive the truck back to dallas but he fixed it for me FREE of charge:rock:

That's good news! If he's using just for Dyno it should be fine and that's the average Dyno cost for a couple pulls with A/F reading.

The guy that done my engine is good friends with Taylor so I did get a pretty decent price. At least from my experence at dyno tuning.

I paid $400 back in 07' for tuning after my cam swap in my 04' truck at PPJ.
After the Roe install in late sping 08' I paid $500 for some YAHOO in Memphis to tune my truck only for it to throw a rod on the way home:mad:

Talk about being pissed sry bro that sucks

Did a little recon on the VCA, didn't see any bad stories

Your 228 miles to Waco TX, home of one of the best mechanic/tuners for our trucks. VENOMOUS1 did mine and what a job he did. Dyno'ed before and after the mods to make sure all was well. And it was. I do recommend him highly and will drive the 130 miles for future work.

Thanks for the kind words Shorty :)

I remote tune through Chris Jensen via email and wideband A/F measurements. ;)
I don't do the tuning on Chryslers myself. I do indeed do GM via HPTuners.
