It has been nice out here so I wanted to get a few visual things done. First thing was to take the intake and fuse box and paint them red to match the valve covers. I am debating a hard radiator pipe so I removed the existing rad hose and sprayed it red just to get an idea. Surprisingly, the paint has held up on the rad hose through about 10 heat cycles. I might just leave it. Anyway, I ordered some silver metallic vinyl that say Viper SRT 10 and layed them on the intake and fuse box. Looks ok I guess, kinda cheap up close. But it will work for now. I had a viper stencil I cut out a long time ago just laying around, so I went ahead and sprayed the condenser. You can tell by the pics I could use a new one lol. I also added the red dodge hash marks on the side, and matching stripes on the wing in vinyl. Still on the fence about this one. Also, not pictured, I sprayed the little SCT logo in red and placed in on the tailgate. I added the mean looking eyebrows on the headlights, just used some lens tint. Lots of lens tint. They are lightly sanded now, need a few more coats to be 100% even with lights on. And finally, I hit the entire truck with a clay bar and a few coats of high end wax. Im lowering it here soon, and thats probably going to be it as far as looks, then its all under the hood! :rock:
