yeah most casual people don't realize how skilled those guys are. Most of us watch professional sports and oooh and ahhh at how skilled they are, but those drivers are unreal. There's close to no margin of error in what they do and how they do it. When people watch something like Top Speed and their driver does a lap in a supercar at the end of the show in a minute something, it looks easy like a video game. But the skill that allows that guy to get in a car he's spent hardly in time in and then setting near records with it is remarkable.
