Spyder Halo LED Projector Headlights

Do these cause the lamp out indicator issue?

Also, what's the difference between CCFL and HALO LED light? The instructions are the same for each one, however contradictory.

The description and pictures from Spyder's site says plug an play, the instructions indiacte quick connects to splice wires??

If you get them post back on how it worked out if you don't mind.

I was told CCFL is just older technology...other than that I have no idea what's different or if it's plug and play. I noticed the contradictory stuff too but I'll be sure to let you know how it works out.

I really like the all smoked ones. Definitely post some pics if you get them and how you like them.

yea I do to but wasn't sure how it would affect the light so I got them without smoke. I"ll let you guys know how they work out. I just ordered them.

I would love the get projectors but I can't stand HALOs and the LED eyelids every single one has

yeah i use to like halo's until it got to the point that it seemed like every ricer on the road had them on them and they become so common reason i have bullet holes on my custom made headlights and i love them unique looking and not over the top :)

srt10ralf has those...they look great..just make sure you put HID's in them to take full advantage of the projectors. he has no lamp out light at all

I'm curious about these too, there's a 10 I'm looking at up past Seattle that has them. That's a longer drive than I'm going to take unless I intend to buy that day and that truck has an accident on the carfax so I'm undecided on it.

Agreed with people above that smoked looks the best.

I currently have the blacked out stock looking headlights just like the truck in the front of the pic. They look good but at night they are not very bright. I am using the Silverstar Ultra bulbs and that still doesn't really help. It weird the headlights seem not to diffuse the light real well.

Ok, that did not work out right. I am referencing post #10 of this thread.

Pics finally

These pics didn't come out the best but overall I'm happy with the looks. the light "beam" pattern is a little weird but hopefully someone else can chime in and say it's normal or not. They'll know what I'm talking about without me describing it here.

Bro, sorry for never replying to you, did not notice the post. I am good on headlights. The reflectors are fine. I think it has to do with the black that surrounds the reflector. I think that is what makes them dimmer. In other words the lights I have are not damaged. Thanks for the offer though.
