I've been driving with no interior lights what so ever and it finally clicked in my head to test light the fuses instead of just checking to see if they were burn, low and be hold my interior lights and gauge cluster isn't getting power. I'm assuming I need a new fuse cluster. Anybody have an idea or a replacement part number?

You need to be more clear on this. Year and Model? Do you mean you have no dash lights? No Dome lights? Have you checked to make sure that the dimmer control on the light control is not turned all the way down? Just trying to help

Way back in OCT 11, I was using the remote power output next to the shifter in my 04. Unknowing to me, the end of the plug for my GPS, which I was using in this output, was loose. When I removed the plug, the end of the GPS plug fell out and shorted that power output.

This happened the exact moment I pulled the plug from the output and I heard a very muffled pop or snap while the truck was running.

I lost the following;

Radio, power windows, power mirrors, guage cluster, all interior lights and a few other functions. I was also had no power to the fuse box for these systems.

The Front Control Module P/N 56051036-AF and TIPM P/N 68005477-AA were replaced due to an internal short.

The issue, this power port was not fuse protected like most. When it shorted it took out the 2 modules mentioned. The tech installed an in-line fuse to protect the modules.

Hope this helps,

Butch

Sounds like my problem, I have no cluster lights, a/c lights, and no dome lights. Seems like your old problem is my new one. Thanks a lot. How much did these modules hit you for?

Once I realized there was no power to the fuse box to these systems I took the truck to the Stealership for diagnostic and repair.

The Front Module P/N 56051036-AF was $294
The TIPM P/N 68005477-AA was $365
